The Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Societe Miniere Ste. Genevieve-Haiti, S.A., a private Haitian company which holds a number of advanced stage exploration properties in Haiti. Maxtech, has committed to spending US$2.5 mil on exploration work over the next year and a half to earn a its interest in the projects.
Maple Property, Dominican Republic
The company has entered into an agreement to earn an 80% interest in a 253 sq. km. property in the Dominican Republic. The Maple property is located 15 kilometers south of the town of La Vega in the central part of the Dominican Republic. The property is prospective for precious and base metals.
Abitibi Region, Quebec, Canada
Maxtech has acquired two projects in the Abitibi Region of Quebec. The region is one of the richest greenstone belts in the World, hosting over 160 deposits of known tonnage and over 1,800 showings of gold and base metals.
Atlin, British Columbia, Canada
The Company has an option to acquire a 50% interest in this gold prospect in the Atlin Mining Division of British Columbia.
